Everything that exists comes with a shelf life, and the human body is one such element that has an expiry date too. Well, to specify ‘best before’ wouldn’t really make sense for human lives, but when it comes to appearance, you’re at your best when young. Ageing is a natural phenomenon that you’re bound to face, but there’s still a way to delay it, because it feels great to look good. So here’s something we’ve got you, to feel younger than you are, and prettier than you feel!

The skin is the largest organ of the human body, and it speaks volumes of a person’s age. So when you think about growing old, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Wrinkles, and then come saggy skin and then the rest. So, before we talk about the procedures that delay ageing, let’s take a quick look at what happens to the skin while ageing.

The skin has elastin and collagen that hold the skin tight, giving a defined and pleasant appearance. Ageing is a process that deteriorates these components of the body, which results in wrinkling and skin sagging.

Although these days skin ageing has accelerated by several factors, you can make some changes in your lifestyle to maintain your skin. But, sometimes you might just need something more to get back that radiance.

Skin Sagging

Well, where there’s a will, there’s a way. Botox and Filler injectable  treatments have become quite popular in bringing smiles to many. If you don’t want to go under the knife when it comes to beauty treatments, dont want any downtime and do not want anyone to know that you had something done , these non-invasive methods are what you need. Botox and Fillers are the secret of beauty of all the movie stars and pop stars.

Botox and fillers are the two most popular non-invasive treatments that delay premature ageing. So let’s understand what these treatments are and the difference between botox and cosmetic fillers.

Botox Vs Cosmetic Fillers

Botox: Botox  is a brand name of Botulinum toxin – a natural, purified protein  . The product is a result of decades of research and has been used extensively by the doctors all over the world for treatment of varietiy of problems .Botox is one of the safest and  most certified products in the medical and cosmetic field.

With ageing, some facial muscles become hyperactive and cause expession lines like frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines and crows feet at the outer angle of eyes. These lines make one look older and tired. Botox is directly injected into the hyperactive muscles underneath the lines through tiny needles , in tiny amount.  Botox injection reduces the muscle overactivity and relaxes the muscle , resulting in smooth, wrinkle free skin and relaxed look.

Cosmetic Fillers: We are born with plenty of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and collagen present in our skin . As we age, this Hyaluronic Acid and collagen in our skin starts reducing and  skin become thinner and wrikled . Cosmetic fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid  in gel form and are injected into skinfolds and hollowed out areas to make the face smooth and youthful .

Cosmetic Fillers are injected into the skin and shows an immediate filling effect and correct the localised loss of volume. This stimulates the deteriorated collagen and the newly produced collagen network in the skin strengthens the tissue connectivity. This stimulates elastin production regaining structural support and elasticity, and the skin quality also improves visibly.

Let’s take a quick look at the conditions that botox and cosmetic fillers are preferred for.
