Face Fat Reduction Treatment in Hyderabad
Filling out hollow cheeks and other signs of ageing on the face can be dealt with by fat injections using fat transferred from other parts of the body. Fat can be removed as a liquid in a syringe from one’s body and injected into the areas of the face where fullness is needed. Evaluation
Once you have decided to undergo a procedure for fat transfer to the face in Hyderabad at Ambrosia, you will be evaluated for your fitness for anaesthesia and surgery (if the procedure you choose is surgical) by Dr Priti or if necessary by the anaesthesiologist. Your diagnostic test reports will be studied and you will be examined by taking measurements and clinical photographs for your medical record.
You will sign the consent forms and will be given detailed preoperative instructions in writing.
Surgery
Before taking you inside the operation room, parts to be sculpted will be marked with you standing to shape them to the desired size.
After Surgery
You will need help for the initial few days. Ensure to not indulge in any harsh physical activity that may undo the results of the procedure. Follow the post-operative instructions of your surgeon.
Recovery
You will be advised to rest and avoid physical activity until the incisions have healed. You will need some assistance initially. The recovery period may vary depending on the extent of the procedure, but for the first few days to up to a week or more after the surgery one may expect some swelling and bruising and general discomfort.
About Facial Fat Loss Procedure at Ambrosia
The part from where fat has to be removed is anaesthetized by local anaesthesia. Fat is removed through syringes, concentrated and injected into the face; under local anaesthesia. 10 to 100 ml fat is injected.

Recovery Timeline After Fat Transfer Surgery
Recovery from fat transfer into the face is mostly related to swelling and bruising of the face.
Next day
Pain is minimal and you can do pretty much everything except going to the gym.

However because your face is swollen and bruised you will have to be away from social situations.
After 1 week
You can go back to your normal lifestyle.
Is the Fat injection procedure to my face safe?
Since the fat injected is taken from your own body, it is a completely safe procedure.
Does the injected fat remain in the sculpted areas? How often does the procedure have to be retouched?
Survival of the injected fat depends on a lot of factors, especially the technique of solid handling and injection. Injected fat contains live fat cells which take new blood supply, survive and even grow. Up to 50 percent of fat cells may not survive. To overcome this extra amount is injected, more than what is needed. Even then frequently another sitting is required to get the desired result.
How long does the transferred fat last? Is this a permanent procedure?
Once the desired fullness has been obtained by one or two sittings of fat injection into the face and the result has been stable for three months, fat can last for years. Of course, it increases and decreases with weight.
What are the risks in this procedure?
Potential problems can be- infection, fat absorption, asymmetry, undercorrection and overcorrection. These problems are easily corrected.
If I do not have substantial fat in my body to be transferred, what is my alternative?
The alternative would be synthetic filler substances (temporary and permanent). These are easily available.
How will I look and feel after my fat transfer procedure?
The cheeks will be swollen soon after surgery and for the next 3 to 4 days. But all that is not fat but only a reaction to the injection. Swelling comes down entirely in the next 1 to 2 weeks, and you can appreciate the result. There may be black and blue patches, especially below the eyes for the first few days. You will need to take antibiotics and painkillers for three days.
How soon can I go back for the next fat transfer injection?
You have to allow the body to adapt to the procedure and heal completely before undergoing the next round of injections. This is ideally a period of 6 weeks.
