Cheek Augmentation Surgery: Pain resulting from cheek augmentation procedure is comparatively low. The patient can expect swelling and bruising as well which is common for almost every surgery as such. The scars take around one to two months to completely fade away.
There is also a degree of numbness the patient might feel post the surgery. Most cosmetic surgeons mention that the numbness goes in a span of one to three months.
In many cases, the implants in the cheek swell to a great extent. This is mainly a result of tissue trauma in the cheeks. The cheeks will appear over augmented for quite some time but the actual results will reflect in a few months.
Cheek Augmentation Surgery: In a few rare cases, patients do not seem to be happy with the results of the surgery and the implants. In that case, they need to go through a revision surgery so that the implants can be rectified or the implant as a whole will be removed from the cheeks.
